India’s Race in C&D Waste Recycling
Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste is one of India’s fastest-growing waste streams, generating millions of tonnes annually. Traditionally, much of it has ended up in landfills or illegal dumps, contributing to pollution and resource wastage. Globally, countries like the Netherlands and Japan recycle more than 90% of their C&D waste, turning it into high-value aggregates, tiles, and road materials. India, however, is still in the early stages of scaling such innovation. R
